XRAY XB4 2024 1/10 Electric 4WD Competition Buggy Kit. Built on the the success of XB4 2023 4WD buggy with major updates and improvements to keep the XB4 on top of the 4WD buggy racing when it comes to a higher level of performance. Team Xray engineers went to the lab with one goal in mind, take the awesome XB4 2023 to an even higher level of performance on both carpet and dirt surfaces!
Front End:
The 2024 XB4 comes equipped with all updated steering knuckles and caster blocks molded in a medium hardness composite to improve both handling and reliability with four different optional caster blocks with different stiffness levels available allowing racers to tune and adjust the driving characteristics to match almost any track conditions!
Rear End:
The 2024 XB4 features rear suspension arms that were designed to accommodate the multi-adjustable uprights, while the outer pivot of each arm uses small screws to secure the hinge pins, prevent separation and reduce suspension bind. The XB4C includes updated rear uprights with Lower roll center positions to improve stability and support the suspension in high-speed corners on Carpet or Astro, while the XB4D comes with both lower and higher uprights Roll Center positions to tune the rear suspension as the track condition changes!
Chassis:
The updated chassis plate includes multiple rear transmission mounting positions, standard or short positions to fine-tune handling, while the guards were designed with a narrow front profile and chamfered edges to reduce chassis scrub on jump entry, significantly improving consistency and handling over jumps! One of the key improvements is the front and rear gear differential with a height adjustment design that features a split cover and crown gear design with a larger internal oil capacity to increase the consistency of the differentials while keeping them significantly narrow in order to move the rotating weight closer to the centerline!
Shocks:
The all-updated big bore 13.2mm shocks are designed to remarkably boost overall handling, and provide unmatched control and supreme traction to the XB4 2024. Comes with super-efficient pre-oiled X-rings to ensure smooth operation while preventing dust from going inside the shock assembly. In addition, both carpet and dirt versions include two different thickness pistons (2.0 and 2.5mm) that come pre-drilled and blank, allowing racers to further custom and modify the shocks!
